We offer both shared and limited private accommodations at most venue locations. Stepping outside your comfort zone and choosing a shared space allows more participants to access this retreat, as selecting a private option reduces the available spots.

This beautiful center is nestled in the Algarve, incorporating elements from ancient ceremonial spaces. It allows us to connection with nature, listen to silence, birdsong, and our own inner voice; to star gaze and reflect upon our experiences.

My work is grounded in the understanding that real change happens in the in-between places—the transitional spaces where something old is falling away and something new is emerging. This perspective, shaped by my psychoanalytic roots and years of sitting with people in their most vulnerable and expansive moments, guides the way I hold space in retreat and integration settings. I create environments where people feel safe enough to open, supported enough to explore, and encouraged enough to trust their own inner wisdom.

As the Managing Director of Awaken Within, I bring over two decades of experience supporting people through psychological, emotional, and spiritual transformation. My path weaves together a Master’s Degree in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy, advanced coaching training, NLP certification, and specialized education in psychedelic facilitation through the Synthesis Psychedelic Practitioner Core Training and the Synthesis–Beckley Practicum.

Awaken Within grew out of my lifelong commitment to guiding others through profound experiences with care, clarity, and grounded presence. Whether someone arrives at a retreat seeking healing, insight, or a renewed sense of self, my intention is always the same: to meet them with attunement, warmth, and the steady support needed to walk a meaningful path of integration and growth.

I’ve been an intuitive since childhood, always feeling a deep calling to help others. My healing journey began in 1995 with therapeutic massage and has since expanded to include a diverse range of modalities, including emergency medical training, trauma-informed care, energy work, coaching, sound healing, shamanic practices and sacred medicine. I’ve had the honor of working with people from all walks of life, across multiple countries, including the US, Haiti, South Korea, Thailand, Italy, the UK, Australia and Portugal, shaping my approach to meet individuals where they are and support their transformation.

In 2020, I was recognized by a Mayan Elder as a Healer and Reader, later traveling to Peru where I was initiated as a Curandera (Traditional Healer). I have also completed internationally accredited Shamanic Practitioner Training and pursued specialized education in psychedelic-assisted therapy. I am one of only two Practicum Supervisor centers in Europe for the SYNTHESIS INSTITUTE’s Psychedelic Practitioner Core Training.
